Tara's Surprise Baby Shower!

We had a little surprise shower for Tara and the new baby on Sunday night! The Culpepper Gals all met at Chillis, and Tara was super surprised! I was so happy! She had no clue! Yay! We had a great time eating and laughing! She opened lots of cute girly presents! We all love Tara, and were so happy to celebrate with her! I will say it again, I love our neighbors, and I am so glad everyone was able to make it! Keep us posted on any and all baby news Tara! Sorry the pics are a little funky! I had my camera on the wrong setting!

Ice cream with Tara and Con!

On Saturday, the guys had a guys night out...so all of the mommies got together at the park! The kids had fun, and Later Tara and I and Con and Lil decided we would go get ice cream! Hey...it is the last few days of summer...so we had to hurry and get our last little bit of ice cream! It was yummy...and let me tell you...Lily NEVER sits still, but she sat at the table and did not move until she finished her cone! So Funny! Thanks for going with us Tara and Con! We had fun!

Bowling!

Friday night we decided to go bowling with our neighbors. Lily loves to go bowling, and we all had a great time!!! We love to watch her play and have fun with her friends while we have fun with ours! The kiddos bowled on one lane and the adults bowled on the other two...by the way...I am a horrible bowler! Love ya punkin!

2nd Annual Culpepper Landing Pig Roast!!!

The Gudges hosted another pig roast for our neighborhood! It was a blast!!! There were about 90 adults there, and about 40 kids. They had a 100 pound pig, 4 fried turkeys, Mr. Margarita Machines making frozen lemonade for the kids and margaritas and strawberry daiquiris for the adults. Everyone brought a side or dessert. There was tons of food, and it was all delicious! It was a beautiful day! Lily had so much fun, and it was so neat to see her playing with all of the kids in the neighborhood! Last year there were about 40 people total at the pig roast, so it was awesome to see how much our neighborhood has grown in just one year! We love our neighbors, and yesterday was so much fun to visit with everyone and meet the new neighbors! There was tons of stuff for the kids to do, and they all played so well! It got a little chilly last night, and it was the first time we busted out the good ole fleeces! Fall is here! YAY!!!!! The kids were all covered in dirt, bubbles, sidewalk, chalk and so on! Lily's dinner consisted of...2 cookies, a cupcake, chips, rice crispy treats, and frozen lemonade...and lets not forget the gobs of m & m's she got her hands on! We had to watch her...she kept trying to hit up the dessert table over and over again!
