Lily's School Christmas Party!

Lily had her class Christmas party on Thursday...so of course we had to get all "Christmassed up" for the occasion! (Does this tutu and bow look familiar??? She wore them last year...they still fit! HA!) I had to get some pics before we left! She looked SO CUTE!!! and she LOVED her tutu! She is already such a girlie girl! She was feeling MUCH better, and just so happy! She had a fun time at her party! She LOVES school and all of her friends...Tessa, Lulu, RyRy, and Alex...she says their names a hundred times a day, so cute! She also loves her teachers, and they love her! I am so happy with the nursery at my school...they are SO loving! One of the teachers took her all around the school to show her off! The kids all know and love her too! She is the little school mascot! She is loving Christmas and all of the decorations! She says "Happy Birthday Jesus" constantly! She loves Santa, and snowmen! She sings jingle bells! She sees presents and says "presents from Santa...ho ho ho! Her teachers gave her great gifts, and she had a great day! Love you precious princess!!! Merry Christmas!

WHAT A MORNING!!!!!

Wow! What a morning! Well, Lily woke up at about 8:00 this morning! She slept in! So I fed her breakfast, we played, watched some Elmo, and than it was time to get ready for church! I gave myself ALOT of extra time, because Eric is still away, and I wanted to get some cute pics before we left! So I went through the DRAMA of giving her her medicine, and put her pretty dress on. Well, when I went to zip it up...it wouldn't zip! I tried and tried and tried...I needed someone else there to hold it together so I could zip it! The dress fit her...the zipper was just one of those annoying zippers...so I was VERY FRUSTRATED...Lily was over it, and I was so HOT...I took my sweater of, and continued to try and get it zipped! No Luck! I was SO MAD! So I decided to put another dress on her...but I wanted to save this dress for next week because it was more Christmassy and next week was closer to Christmas...CRAZY...I know...but that was my thought! OH WELL! We went with the other dress and were finally ready to go...well, I had to take pics, so we tried a little photo shoot, and I looked at the clock and we were LATE!!! I got her bag and got her in the car...and it started pouring...UGH!!! Of course there were no spots up close because we were so late, so here Lily and I were...all dressed up, and running with the umbrella in the rain! SO ANNOYING! Well, I got her in and put her in the nursery...of course she screamed...than I sat down in church...to find out that the music...my favorite part... had just ended!!! UGH!!!!!!!! Well, the message was good, talking about remembering the true reason for the season...and do not let the little things get you frazzled and upset! and to not be selfish! So..I took a breathe and did just that... Remembered the true reason for the season, and thanked God for all of the blessings He has given me and my family! Sometimes ya just have to slow down and be thankful!

1st Annuel Culpeper Landing Cookie Decorating Party!

Last night Lily and I went to a cookie decorating party at the Hatman's house! We were so excited! That is one of the reasons we chose to live in a neighborhood like this...we wanted to be able to be close with our neighbors and have little get-to-gethers! When we moved in, we were only the third house in the whole place! Now there are over 25 families that have moved in, and we LOVE it! It is so much fun, and I am so looking forward to Lily growing up here with lots of neighborhood friends! I dressed Lily up in one of her 10 Christmas outfits and we headed over. Well...of course I took some pics before we left...it is getting harder and harder to get pics of this child! ~Notice her "boots with the fur" Thanks Great Grammy! Eric was still out of town...and boy did we miss him! Kelly had her house set up all cute and she had tons of food and cookies and decorations for the kiddos to decorate their cookies with! Lily loves to be around all of the kids and the commotion! She is still the youngest, so I have to keep an eye on her always!!! She and I decorated a cookie...she really wasn't into it this year...she was more focused on putting as many m&m's in her mouth as possible! Oh! My girl and her candy! She played and played, and we all had a great time! Thanks Kelly! I LOVE stuff like this! Love you Lily! So glad to see you play with all of you friends and have so much fun!

We have had sort of a rough week around here! On Tuesday, Lily's teachers came to me and said that she was not acting herself at all...she did not have a fever, but she was just really fussy and they could tell she didn't feel good! I left early and took her home! I made a doc appt for later on that day! Well, poor baby had an ear infection in both ears! and the doc said it looked like she was cutting like 7 teeth! They put her on ammox. and she acted like she felt better, but I was keeping her home from school on Wednesday. Lily and I hung out on Wednesday. She was just really clingy and really fussy! I knew she didn't feel well! By the way...this little missy DOES NOT like to take her medicine! It is like this huge horrible thing to get her to take it! Anyways...she woke up on Thursday, and still did not seem like she felt better...so I kept her home again! I didn't feel so hot either, and I needed a little break too! It was nice! Eric left on Thursday morning to go to Jax for work...and play! He was there from Thursday-Monday! Lily and I just hung out and snuggled on Thursday! By Friday morning she felt better and I could tell! We went to school, and she had a good day! She was a little fussy, but she was feeling better! Friday night I watched Lucas and Olivia while Deanna and Mark went to a work party. Lily had so much fun! She LOVES them, and played and played the whole night! It is so cute to watch her actually "play" with her friends! She plays nice...most of the time! She is the youngest of the whole bunch...but she is definitely right in there playing and dancing with the rest of um! I love you so much Lily...and I HATE it when you don't feel well! I am so glad you are feeling better!xoxoxo
