Life with the Lafleurs: 2009

We went to church yesterday morning in the FREEZING COLD!!! It snowed a little the night before, and it was so cold!!!!! We just got a light dusting...not enough to play in or even take pictures of, but it did snow here. It has been in the twenties this week, and we have been oh so cold and oh so ready to go on our trip to Florida!!! We had a great church service...so nice to sit back and remember the true reason for the season! Jesus! And thank Goad for our many blessings!!!!! Lily looked BEAUTIFUL in one of her many Christmas dresses from Great Grammy! She is such a doll! We are off to Orlando tonight, where we will be with Eric's fam this week, than off to Ft. Lauderdale to be with my fam the next week! I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! I will have TONS of pics to post when we get back from our trip! LOVE TO ALL!!!

This morning we had Christmas...round one! We are leaving on Monday to go to Florida...we are spending Christmas with Eric's family in Orlando, and then heading to ft. lauderdale to spend a few days with my fam! So... we decided to have our own little family Christmas today! My mom and dad and Gram sent lily's "big" presents here, and Eric put them together this week. We set everything out in front of the tree last night! We went in and got her up, and she walked out to a room full of presents! She was so cute! She didn't know what to do! She LOVED it! She got a kitchen from my mom and dad and a motorized princess power wheels car from my gram...and we got her all of the food and pots and pans and shopping cart, etc. She had so much fun opening all of her things! It took us forever to open up all of her and our gifts! We are so blessed, and got so much great stuff! Lily just went from present to present, she was so excited! We had the camera and video camera going! I loved watching her, and Eric and I just couldn't get over how big she is getting...we just kept saying she is so cute! She talks to much, and she sang jingle bells all morning long. We just had a really great morning! It was raining outside, and freezing! It is supposed to snow tonight...but who knows! After we opened all of our gifts, Eric made sausage and pancakes, and lily LOVED them! She kept saying pancakes pancakes...My girl loves her some food! Thanks so much to my parents and gram for sending her big presents here...she LOVES them, and is going to have so much fun playing with them! Now, Lily and Eric are taking a nap, and I am blogging and packing! Such a great day! I love my family so very much! Merry Christmas Lily and Eric! I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone has a great weekend!
