Well...technically this is not her "first day" this school year, but last week and the beginning of this week was pre - planning for the teachers...so today was the official first day of school! I think Lily look so old in these! I can't believe she is 2, and next year she will be in 3K! I have her at my school again, in staff daycare, and I love having her there! She has five kids in her class this year...I will get pics of her and her friends at a later "less hectic" time! She has been having a great time...doing all sorts of activities...her teachers always tell me that they can't believe all she is saying and doing! She knows her shapes, colors, and just talks their ears off! She holds full conversations with everyone, and everyone always has to come and tell me what Lily said today! It is so sweet, and everyone at that school really does love lil! We are working on sitting down while we are eating, listening and obeying the first time, being kind to our friends (we think everything is "ours"), and taking a nap on a cot! They are having all of the kids lay on cots instead of in cribs..Lily did OK the first few days, but she hasn't napped the last 2 days, and it just makes her MISERABLE later on! I know she is only 2...but I pray for her and her behavior in school every day! I want her to be obedient, and loving! I want her to be sweet and kind to everyone! I want her to do what she is told... She is such a sweet baby doll, but she is very strong willed, and as a teacher...I worry about her as she gets older HA! I have seen many of her type come through my class! They are "busy" and always challenging me...but they are the funniest and sweetest, and always my favorites! I hope we are doing what we can to "train her up in the way she should go, so when she is old, she will not turn from it!" That verse is always one that I share with the parents of the kids in my class! I definitely look at the kids that are like her in a whole new way!!! Some kids are just "strong willed" , and it is OK! That is a GREAT quality...just has to be molded and sculpted in the correct way! Lily is our sunshine ( I sing that to her every night before I put her in her crib) and the light of our lives! I am so proud of her, and love her more than anything! She is my heart, and I just want to make sure I am doing all I can do to "train her up!" She is a tough little cookie, but she is just as sweet as one too! LOVE YOU PRINCESS!!!!! You are so SPECIAL!!!!

Olivia's Birthday part at the "Y"
Last weekend was Olivia's birthday party! She had it at the "Y." Lily had a blast, and loved eating pizza, drinking lemonade in a "big girl" cup, and enjoying cake and icecream! She was so cute...she said "happy birthday Olivia" about 100 times, and kept telling me how excited she was to have cake! Just like her momma!!! The first part of the party was in the party room, and Mark made balloon animals, and al of the kids danced and played and ran around! Lily...well, she is always the "life of the party" shall we say! Full of spunk, and running wild! After that we headed out to the pool! We LOVE the Y pool, and we spent most of our summer there..so we felt right at home! Happy Birthday Olivia! We had a great time!
Kangaroo Jacks
We went to Kangaroo Jacks the other day with some of the neighborhood gals! It is this amazing place that is filled with tons of bounce houses and blow up slides! It is all padded and completely safe! Lily was in HEAVEN!!! She was so excited! She had an absolute blast! We all know she is our little daredevil! She LOVED it! She laughed and giggled and ran wild the whole time! LOVED our little outings this summer! Already miss them... and our my wonderful neighbors! Love you Lily! I LOVE watching you have so much fun! "Shag on Sugar"
Granna and Pepe took us to this cute little festival on Sugar Mountain called Shag on Sugar! I guess this is an annual thing that takes place, and they teach the old dance called the shag. Well, they had all sorts of stuff there to do! They had a little craft fair, bouncies and face painting for the kids, bubbles, balloons, food, drinks, and big band, and Lily's FAV...huge rolling hills and rocks for her to run down and play on! It was at a golf course, so it was just beautiful. We had a great afternoon listening to the band and chasing Lily! She loved it! Don't ya just love her sweet dress! Thanks Granna and Pepe!! Later on we went to eat at Bellas! One of our favs! We had a great trip to NC! Thanks so much to Granna and Pepe for everything! We always have so much fun, and appreciate all you do for us! Love ya!
